Log kehtein hain, nazron se bayan hoti hain dil ki baatein,
tubh badi mushkil se guzarti hain yeh din aur yeh ratein,
har pal unke khayalon mein khoye rehtein hain aise,
sapnon ki alag si duniya mein bus gayein hon jaise...
pehle toh yakeen na hota tha, mujhe in baton par,
doston se sun, hussa kartin thi mein unpar aksar,
par kuch dino se ek ajeeb sa nasha hai chaya,
mud kar jahan dekha, wahan pyaar hi pyaar paya...
socha na tha ki kabhi mera bhi aisa haal hoga,
ek ajanabi se mujhe bhi kabhi pyaar hoga,
aankhon se dil mein utarna mein bhi khub jaanti hoon,
unke dil mein bhi yehi baat hai, yeh mein maanti hoon...
par agar, sumajne mein koi bhul ho gayi ho mujse,
toh bus itni hee guzarish hai unse,
ki is dil ki baat woh bhi kabhi samaj paaye,
aur mere pass ikraar karne woh aaye...
jaanti hoon, aasaan nehin yun haal-e-dil bayaan karna,
yun khule aam mohabbat ka izhaar karna,
par darti hoon, kahin derr na ho jaye,
aur tub tuk meri doli na uth jaaye!
